Rich, dynamic and dimensional designs printed on aluminum sheets.
600 Series Architectural Metals from Chemetal are a distinctive collection of metal designs featuring sublime beauty, impressive durability and thoughtful sustainability in every aspect of the material.
These metals breathe history and tradition, with age and patina reminiscent of the great metal ages. Yet these are printed metal panels, employing fantastically modern printing technology to create a combination of depth, mood, subtle variation and reflectivity. Designs are sourced from Japan, with a commitment to technological innovation, process and quality. All in a 4 x 8 foot sheet. They’re part of Chemetal’s commitment to offering design professionals the best metal designs from the world over.
A plethora of darkened materials.
The 600 Series features several outstanding blackened steel looks. Each design embodies ambient tones and patterns beneath, with shades of grey, bronze and brass surfacing as the light moves. These are popular and spectacular Chemetal designs.

Durability
600 Series Architectural Metals are composed of a .025 aluminum sheet and an industry- leading FEVE Lumiflon ® resin, creating excellent and long-lasting finish, tone and color. In fact, almost all of our 600 Series designs are rated for exterior use (#610, 620 & #624 being interior only) though our primary market is interior use. (Exterior use requires different lamination procedures, substrates and glue systems). Though it is still a material that will scratch, like all metals, these materials utilize a technologically advanced and durable resin system.
Sustainability
600 Series Architectural Metals contain a minimum 20% post-consumer recycled aluminum and are 100% recyclable at the end of their life cycle. They’re part of mindful MATERIALS library (link) (along with many Chemetal materials), which allows us to share product transparency information in an organized format. Additionally, we participate in sustainability standards Red List Free, HPD and LEED.
